One of the most provocative and controversial new musicals of the 21st century, SEE WHAT I WANNA SEE is a musical about lust, greed, murder, faith and redemption and was named by New York Magazine as one of the Best Musicals of 2005 as well as nominated for nine Drama Desk Awards, including Best Musical. It is based on three short stories by the Japanese writer Ryunosuke Akutagawa. SEE WHAT I WANNA SEE showcases and eclectic, rhythmic and exciting new score by Tony Award nominiee Michael John LaChiusa (Hello Again, Bernarda Alba, Little Fish).
